Teller

We are Hiring a Teller
Full-time $12.50/hr

Teller Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes member financial transactions following credit union policy and procedures, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Verifies and posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member and Credit Union records. Keeping updated records such as phone numbers, addresses and other relatable member information.
  • Communicates with members via phone, email, face to face, or any other means provided by NorthRidge. provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate departments for specific information and service.
  • Knowledge of NorthRidge services and products. Finds opportunities to recommend them when a need is identified.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including the use of all office equipment such as copying, faxing, and the use of coin machines.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary environment for most of the day.

Communications & Marketing Specialist

We are Hiring a Communications & Marketing Specialist
Full-time $15.43-$23.15/hour

NorthRidge Community Credit Union is looking for you to help us further our missions to improve the financial lives of our members and our communities.  Our Marketing Specialist uses their skills to focus on innovative ways to enhance member and staff experiences while responsibly strengthening brand awareness. Communications & Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Assists in advertising and sales promotions. Supports the development of advertising programs and collateral materials. Collateral materials may include all forms of media from printed material to any audiovisual content.
  • Assists in marketing and sales planning, including an analysis of competitive products/services and selling techniques, legislation, budgets, pricing and distribution.
  • Conducts market research and makes recommendations for product/service modifications or improvements.
  • Represents NorthRidge; promotes Northridge to employees and works with sponsors to maintain positive relationships.
  • Coordinates special events including annual meeting; monitors planning, schedules and implementation as required for proper execution of each event, including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics.
  • Manages member complaint/grievance response activity.
  • Assists in the implementation of the promotion of NorthRidge products and services.

Qualifications:

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing in graphic design or marketing related field.
  • This position requires a significant level of trust and diplomacy as well as courtesy and tact.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software such as Microsoft Office products. Experience with graphics programs is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary environment for most of the day.

Mortgage Officer

We are Hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer
Full-time $17.16-$25.74/hour

Are you a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who wants to use their skills to improve the lives or others in our community?  As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you have the unique ability to look beyond a credit score, really listen to someone’s story and create lasting relationships to help our members and their families reach their financial dreams.

Mortgage Loan Officer Responsibilities:

  • Works with members to review their financial conditions and consider lending possibilities.
  • Analyzes member financial condition including credit history, credit score, collateral, and other financial information to assess loan options.
  • Completes or directs completion of all loan documents. Ensures documentation is complete and accurate and conforms to Credit Union and regulatory standards. Completes required reports and records. Meets with member to explain terms and conditions and close the loan.
  • Takes and reviews applications for consumer loan business. Explains loan programs and advises members of loan options and requirements.
  • Participates in developing lending and deposit business for the Credit Union. Identifies opportunities to cross-sell new or additional services or products to members. Markets the Credit Union’s mortgage lending program to companies and individuals within the real estate community. Attends and participates in meetings and committees as required.
  • Calls or visits with members who are delinquent on their mortgage loan. Assists in collection of past due loans.

Qualifications:

  • Two to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and processes for providing member services using excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary environment for most of the day.
