We are Hiring a Teller

Full-time $11.11-$16.66/hour

Teller Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes member financial transactions following credit union policy and procedures, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Verifies and posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member and Credit Union records. Keeping updated records such as phone numbers, addresses and other relatable member information.
  • Communicates with members via phone, email, face to face, or any other means provided by NorthRidge. provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate departments for specific information and service.
  • Knowledge of NorthRidge services and products. Finds opportunities to recommend them when a need is identified.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including the use of all office equipment such as copying, faxing, and the use of coin machines.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary environment for most of the day.

We are Hiring a Member Solutions Specialist
Full-time $15.13-$22.70/hour

We are looking for a Member Solutions Specialist to help NorthRidge Community Credit Union further it’s missions to improve the financial lives of our members and our communities. Our Member Solutions Specialist talks with our members each day to help them find solutions when roadblocks happen in life. They work closely with our members to help them keep their accounts in good standing, offering other ways to make payments and get back on track when “life happens.” NorthRidge is committed to empowering our members to take control and realize financial freedom.

Member Solutions Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail. Advises and counsels members of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment. Takes appropriate action to bring account to a current status, including skip tracing, filing judgments, liens and garnishments. As necessary, helps members create custom payment plans or restructure current loans to repay the Credit Union.
  • Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers; makes recommendations to help out member, while keeping the best interest of the Credit Union in mind. Repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful
  • Testifies at legal proceedings as required and is the credit union’s liaison for police as well as filing bond claims.
  • Stays current on collection process knowledge and trends in loan underwriting that contribute to delinquent/charged-off loans

Qualifications:

  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • This position requires a significant level of trust and diplomacy as well as courtesy and tact.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software such as Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be able to lift or carry 20 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary environment for most of the day.
