“I was new to the credit world and wasn’t sure where to start, but I needed a new vehicle. NorthRidge was so helpful in guiding me through the process and financing me, even though I had no prior credit history. I was able to effortlessly purchase a new car of my choosing!

Unfortunately, shortly after my purchase I was involved in an accident resulting in a total loss of my vehicle. NorthRidge stepped in again and helped me square everything away with insurance, and reminded me of the GAP insurance I had purchased with them. That helped me with an extra $1,000 to put down on a new car. They were very efficient working with Iron Trail on the process.

“Years ago, we had a loan at another financial institution. My husband got laid off from his job, so he went in to tell them our situation as we do not run and hide from our creditors. Well when he told them what was happening (and we had a young family at the time) they demanded us to pay off the loan immediately. So my husband went to NorthRidge, took out a loan with them, and went and paid the other loan off. NorthRidge was on our side and understood our situation and were helpful and courteous.

Many loans with NorthRidge later, and they are still here for us!”

“We moved to Ely 1.5 years ago. The bank we were using at the time had its closest location in Superior, WI. They didn’t answer our three phone calls to find out if we needed to pick up a cashier’s check or initiate a wire transfer from their location to fund closing on our house.

Upon closing at the title office in Ely, we finally got through to our bank in Superior. We were informed that we would need to do a wire transfer in person (in Superior). Our realtor drove us to three banks in town to see if they could write a cashier’s check with a payment from my card with no luck.

We had lost hope for our house, especially with an antsy seller with another buyer if we faltered. Our realtor wrote us a personal check for the closing costs, to have us pay her back after closing. We were blown away, we might not have made it without her.

She told us she was on the board for NorthRidge Community Credit Union. We switched to them as soon as we got settled, because of the faith she had to write her check to us – the faith no one else had. We are forever grateful!”

“We needed to apply for a vehicle loan and NorthRidge’s website made it super easy. That same afternoon, Becky Elko reached out to me with necessary documents so we were pre-approved as we traveled three hours away later that week to look at the car we hoped to purchase.

The dealership could not top NorthRidge’s rate. We are very satisfied with the efficiency Becky provided since we are super busy during banking hours. It was easy to accomplish via emails and a phone call. Not only that, she was able to accommodate an every-two-week payment plan. We were able to drive away in our new-to-us car on a Saturday, with a promise the check from NorthRidge would be deposited into our account and accessed by the dealership the following week. It was smooth sailing. We will definitely return to NorthRidge and Becky Elko for any future needs!”

“Two years ago, we needed a new vehicle. Medical bills in the past had a negative impact on our credit scores. Because of that, we were not very hopeful about being approved for a loan, and did not get our hopes up. We went to NorthRidge to explain our current situation, and they were able to give us a loan for the vehicle we needed! Having the loan on our truck has also improved our credit scores since we’ve always been on time with our payments.

Since then, our daughter purchased her own vehicle through NorthRidge. It was a big deal to make such a big purchase and everyone at NorthRidge made it such a wonderful experience for her.

We love how family-oriented they are. Walking into the branch feels comfortable, it’s not like walking into a bank. We feel like family there!”

“About 3 years ago, I transferred my banking to Northridge Community Credit Union and I can say it was one of the best decisions I have made financially. The Evergreen Rewards Checking Account is amazing with cash back earnings monthly, and their loan process is outstanding.

I recently decided to purchase a camper and was unsure on how to go about it. Becky, the loan officer, was so extremely helpful with finding a payment I could afford, and finding out how much the camper I wanted was worth, which helped my decision tremendously! I got the camper for less than the value it goes for, so it was a win for me! Now me and my family had amazing summer adventures and I’m still financially stable due to having a camper loan with low interest rates!”
